Colocasia

The Colocasia family is a group of plants that are native to tropical regions around the world, including parts of Asia, Africa, and the Americas. It is a member of the Araceae family, which also includes plants such as the Philodendron, Peace Lily, and Elephant Ear.
Colocasia plants are known for their large, heart-shaped leaves that can grow up to several feet in length. The leaves grow on long stalks that emerge from an underground stem called a corm, which stores nutrients and water.
