Description
Peperomia angulata, also known as the “giant peperomia,” is a species of tropical perennial plant in the family Piperaceae. It is native to Central and South America, and is commonly grown as a houseplant due to its attractive foliage.
The plant has a trailing growth habit, with stems that can reach up to 3 feet (90 cm) in length. The leaves are glossy green and oval-shaped, with a distinct pointed tip and a slightly wavy edge. The foliage can be variegated with shades of cream, white, or yellow.
Peperomia angulata is a relatively easy plant to care for. It prefers bright, indirect light and well-draining soil, and should be watered only when the top inch of soil is dry. The plant can tolerate average humidity levels and temperatures between 60-75°F (15-24°C). It can also be propagated easily from stem cuttings.
